She is a former Health Science Policy Analyst at the National Institute Of Aging, The National Institutes of Health, focusing on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Jace is an Associate Professor at the University of Nevada School of Public Health, dedicated to advancing research on Alzheimer’s disease within LGBTQIA+ populations. His groundbreaking work, which relies largely on federal funding, focuses on the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals in caregiving and access to essential resources.

Dr. Rebecca Clement
Rebecca is a computational biologist and entomologist working as a scientist at the USDA in Fort Collins, Colorado. Rebecca loves insects. In undergrad, she took a class where she collected insects that live in streams and was instantly hooked. She did a PhD on termites and their role as decomposers in Australia, then took a postdoctoral fellowship with the USDA at the Smithsonian Museum, working on hybridization in aphids.

Dr. Zachary Labe
Zack is a climate scientist passionate about exploring the intersection of climate variability, extreme events, and innovative data science methods. With a Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine, he investigated how Arctic climate change – particularly sea ice loss – affects large-scale atmospheric patterns and extreme weather.
Jennifer Kali
Jennifer Kali is a statistician who worked for 22 years at Westat and Mathematica, conducting large-scale surveys to provide data for governments to use to create evidence-based policies. However, federal budget cuts resulted in her dismissal.

Breanna was a pest management expert at the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) as a Plant Protection and Quarantine Technician. APHIS is an agency of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) responsible for protecting animal and plant health.
Laura Collins
Laura Collins is a recently retired federal civil servant with nearly four decades of dedicated service to the American public. With 37 years of experience in government roles, Laura most recently served as an Account Manager at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), where she oversaw three Medicare Advantage-Prescription Drug plans and healthcare offerings under the Affordable Care Act.
Joy Haven
Joy H. is a terminated biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) in New Mexico. She helped establish a new working relationship between the FWS and an Air Force Base. The goal was to conduct surveys, monitoring efforts, and habitat management projects for several species in and around the base that are in danger, in particular, the pinyon jay.
